Mischa Barton is the hot new public face-or is that feet?-of the
tried-and-true sneaker Keds, and she laced up her newest pair (which
she matched with a daring L.A.M.B. dress from Gwen Stefani) to help
launch the brand's latest line, Keds Heritage, at a bash in her
honor at Melrose Avenue's Sportie LA. Heritage is the right name
for them: Mischa told Hollywood.com she's been a Keds kid all her
life, and it's a generational thing. "My mom wore Keds, so
it runs in the family." She was looking forward to showing
her fans how to mix and match their casual Keds with high fashion
"I'm excited. We're looking at designers to work with and everything,
and I think they have a lot of potential. They're such a canvas
to do whatever you want with, and they've been such a joy to work
with." And is it nice to take a break from sky-high stilettos?
"Yeah, it is. And I wear flats all the time because I'm tall
