Bateman Undergoes Throat

HOLLYWOOD - Production on acclaimed comedy Arrested Development
has been temporarily halted, while star Jason Bateman recovers
from throat surgery.
The 36-year-old actor underwent surgery yesterday morning to
remove a benign polyp.
Bateman's spokesperson, Cara Tripicchio, says the operation went
smoothly and the screen star is doing well.
Production on Arrested Development will be on hiatus for a few
weeks while Bateman recovers, according to executive producer
Mitch Hurwitz. |
